Contract Extension Not Reflecting on Client Instance
Summary
A contract extension may not appear on a client instance even after the host extends the machine listing. This can happen when the host’s current listing price is higher than the client’s contract price.
Cause
- The host extended the machine listing, but the client contract end date did not update.
- The host’s current GPU listing price was higher than the client’s contract price, which blocked the extension.
- The Client End Date field on the machine can be misleading because it may show the latest end date across all clients, not the end date for one specific client.
Resolution
- Check whether the host’s current listing price is equal to or lower than the client’s contract price.
- If not, ask the host to lower the listing price so the extension can apply.
- If the specific client contract end date still needs correction, escalate to engineering/admin for manual review or update.
Notes
This issue is more common on machines with multiple clients, where machine-level dates may not match a specific client contract.
